Sue ~ Owner, Business Manager
I was involved in corporate business for 10 years before having the opportunity to teach my skills and knowledge, in the form of Keyboarding, Introduction to Microsoft Office, Web Design, Basic Programming, and Video Production to students in kindergarten – 12th grade. After 18 years, I retired from teaching to be a stay at home Grandmother to my granddaughter and grandson.
Family is my utmost priority. I have been married for over 30 years to my high school sweetheart. When meeting my daughter-in-law, Shirley, we often talked about putting our professions together and opening our own salon. This dream of ours came into fruition when we opened Legacy Styling Salon.
I have enjoyed learning the ins and outs of the salon business through Shirley and the mentoring of other salon owners, classes, and conferences. I find it to be much different than the corporate business world. Facing the challenges of business ownership and the trial and errors that occur has been an exciting journey that I continue to look forward to in the future as we build and grow Legacy Styling as a family owned and operated salon.
